I really like the motion-detection for this light. A friend of mine has lights for his stairway. This is a great feature from a safety standpoint. His have to be switched on/off. I put this light in an inconspicuous location. It comes on when it detects movement on the stairs. I will install a second one at the midpoint of the stairs to improve the sensitivity and provide safe use at night. As my wife and I get older, seeing where we are going is vital. Falls are bad and have long-lasting horrible results.The steel clips can be screwed into the wall or applied with the two faced sticky tape. (Who knew that "two-faced" would actually be a desirable feature?). When the internal battery runs-down it is a simple matter to recharge the light. A couple of hours of recharge and you are back in business. The motion detector does not activate in daylight. The night time periods are infrequent (I'm usually asleep) and so recharging a unit is not a problem. In the photo you can see the how effective the light is. At first I was startled by the light coming on "magically" but have quickly adapted. It is part of the house.It didn't take long to realize that one of these can also be a flashlight for emergencies. It is light weight and easily carried all over the house. Very useful technology. Clever design built on existing tech.Oh! Yes it can be mounted under cabinets (and in closets, on walls, on ceilings, use in tents when camping, etc.)Good product

Love these. I just ordered another box for the rest of the closet. They turn on when I walk in the closet and turn off on their own. They are perfect for a little extra light. Not sure how long the charge lasts yet, but they charged quickly and was just a peel and stick with magnets for easy removal when time to charge again.

I needed some lighting for the kitchen and closets in my home. These were perfect. They charged pretty quickly and the charge lasts for quite some time. The motion detection is pretty spot on with great brightness. Super simple to install and perform exactly how I want.

I purchased this for my 82 yr old mother. She gets up frequently during the night to use the restroom and these lights allow her to find her house shoes and her way more easily. She likes the motion sensors bc the light goes off once she's back in bed. I purchased this product 30 days ago. Two lights have since needed recharging; the third is on its original charge. I have only adhered one set of lights and removing that strip to charge was easy and did not harm the finish of the bed.

This 3-pack of rechargeable LED lights is a great way to put light into areas where you need it without having to spend a lot of money on an electrician. The lights are not particularly bright but the fact they are rechargeable and extraordinarily easy to install balances that out. They are bright enough to light up a dark countertop by a coffee maker for example, but not so bright as to disturb someone sitting nearby. I have one under a cabinet by my coffee maker (an area of the kitchen that is dark even when the regular kitchen light are on) and one I put in my pantry closet, which has never had light in it and never gets much anyway from the kitchen. The light works great in there too. I use the Auto feature on all of them, so when I go to the counter where the coffee maker is (which is next to the fridge) the light comes on for 20 sec and then automatically shuts off if I move away or stop moving; same in the pantry, which is great late at night.Installation of these is very easy: each light comes with four magnetic pads, two already attached to the light and two with a peel and stick backing. I simply put the latter two magnets on the attached ones, peeled the backing and stuck the unit up. The magnets are plenty stone to hold the lights up (which are very light, by the way) and I’m sure the magnets can be removed and relocated if I needed to (using some double sided tape).Finally, the light has three different temperatures you can choose from; I tend to use the brightest (white light) as it gives the best illumination in my experience. It also has adjustable brightness, but I could not see much difference when I played with it. Recharging is easy: simply take the lights down and use the cable provided and you can charge all three at the same time in about 1-1/2 to 2 hours (note: I have not let the lights run all the way down; I routinely give them all a recharge once a week).For the price, and the fact these are easy to install, AND rechargeable, this three-pack is a good value and better than what I was using before. Highly recommended.

These little lights are so good! First of all they charge really fast. Next, they are very bright. Then, add that the motion sensor works incredibly well. And lastly, I should’ve just ordered these a long time ago! It keeps you from having to turn the light on every time you walk in and out of her room that you don’t plan on staying in very long!
