Bought these in August 2022, in the 6 pack round auto off in daylight model after someone here at home fell, during the night. As you can see from the pictures myself & others have provided, these are really good night lights to see by. My picture with the wooden spoons shows the size of the light from about 6 feet away, with an interior light on. My photo in the dark is from about 10 feet away in a basement with the interior door visible. A window is opposite this basement light, so it shuts off automatically. Otherwise most anywhere else in my basement is too dark for this to automatically turn off. These are most likely not for those who like to sleep in totally dark rooms, as you can see they cast a decent amount of light . I like that they're the soft yellow color, which is less distracting / jarring to someone getting out of bed, during the night. They make great theater style lights, to see by without having to turn on whole room lights & disturbing your partner.

These devices are insanely simple; you plug them in, and when the sensor on top of the device doesn't detect enough light, they turn on. I feel like they output the perfect amount of light; it's not too bright,and certainly not too dim. I wouldn't recommend trying to sleep with one in visible range at night, but if you're trying to navigate your house in the dark, these make it effortless, unless you're a hoarder. There's also a gradient of brightness, depending on how dark it gets, which is nice, but you'll care more about its max brightness at night, or if your home is super dark during the day.

They are very bright at night and don’t take up too much space. I use them for hallway, bedrooms, bathrooms, and kitchen. The light is bright but soft to the eyes. The brightness of the light is detected by how dark your room is. The darker the brighter the light. They are long lasting. Highly recommend!
