I purchased this before my podiatrist prescribed a $1500 foot brace to get me going. I’ve been using it for months now and recently got by prescribed foot brace. The one my doctor prescribed was so bulky and awkward that I asked why they haven’t made something like the brace I purchased off of niivira. It’s compact (hardly noticeable), your stepping on your own heal, fits in almost any sneaker, my gate is almost normal, and I haven’t tried anything better. I don’t use the inflatable piece that comes with it since it’s made out of plastic and I’m concerned it will cause irritation (luckily it’s removable). I recently had it padded with foam to help release the occasional pressure I feel at the front of the ankle. Wearing a thick long sock helps though. The $1500 brace still sits in my house untouched. I have no intention of using it.

My dad had a stroke on Jan 26 2023 and I bought this for him. He says it's amazing and feels very comfortable ✨️ without it he feels like he is falling over. With it he feels like his old self able to function is foot way better and has a stable balance while standing and walking. However don't pull too tight for long periods as it will cause swelling. Once he began loosen it when not in full use the swelling went down. He is also considering a bigger size for more comfort but he doesn't wanna take it off. 😂 he loves it

As a person who has had fully hinged, big bulky plaatic AFOs for years.....I was shocked that such a small foot contraption could offer such support.....but they DO! I have drop foot AND sever ankle rolling and this foot orthosis prevents both while being of minimalist design. They are comfortable, have good velcro and come in various sizes.
